iMotions two-day workshops in Armenia

Within the framework of the “LISS24” (Learn – Innovate – Sell – Succeed) project implemented at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA) under the Erasmus+ program, NPUA team members Artur Zaprosyan, Alexander Kalmukhyan, Lida Aghajanyan and the Armenian Project Coordinator Ruben Aghgashyan, along with other Armenian partners of the Project from the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACА) and the Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU), participated in a two-day training-workshop organized by the Dutch company «iMotions», which was held on the premises of ANAU on October 20-21, 2025. It was aimed at familiarizing and mastering the capabilities of the hardware and software tools supplied by the aforementioned «iMotions» company necessary for the launch of the “Sales Labs” to be opened soon within the framework of the Project at these universities. The trainings conducted by the direct developer and supplier company with a highly equipped and fully interactive program provided a unique opportunity to study and quickly develop the participants' practical knowledge and skills in, still very unusual for these universities, areas such as characteristic neuro and biometric manifestations of human behavior, as well as modern methods and means of their hardware registration and software analysis to ensure the successful implementation of the latter in «Sales Labs» to be created locally for various educational and research purposes. Both training days were highly practical and effective, at the same time in a warm and friendly atmosphere, contributing to both the immediate progress of «LISS24» and the strengthening of cooperative ties between the participants and the exchange of international experience. In the end, an important consensus was reached to continue to seek iMotions’ advice as needed. In addition, it is worth noting that the software package-system developed by «iMotions» and delivered directly to the National Polytechnic University of Armenia is currently widely used in various leading universities around the world, enabling the successful implementation of multifaceted biometric analysis of human emotional responses.

LEARN, INNOVATE, SELL, SUCCEED ERASMUS+ LISS24 PROGRAM MARKS ITS FIRST SUCCESSES

On May 26, in the Agritech lecture hall of the Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU), we held the final competition summarizing the interactive training sessions on «Generating Innovative Business Ideas», conducted within the framework of the «Erasmus+ LISS24» program. The month-long course engaged over 25 students, who were grouped into six teams and tasked with developing innovative business ideas based on real-world problems. Each team brought forward unique, thoughtful concepts and demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, creativity, and teamwork. Their presentations reflected a high level of preparation and enthusiasm, featuring the use of cutting-edge technologies, AI tools, and product prototypes. To assess their work, an experienced jury panel was assembled. Faced with the challenge of selecting the top three among such well-prepared competitors, the jury conducted a thorough, multi-criteria evaluation. Ultimately, the team «WineAura» secured first place, followed by «Snnduk» in second, and «TrackTail» in third. These three teams will advance to the inter-university competition on «Generating Innovative Business Ideas», to be held on June 10, together with the winning teams from NPUA and NUACA.
